Simple (And Inexpensive!) Ways to Market Your Business

We love marketing. We get a thrill out of seeing an ad perform well, appreciate catchy headlines, and get excited when we see a beautiful logo. But we know not everyone loves marketing as much as we do. If you run a small business, then you probably know marketing is important and something you should be doing. But, we get it. Your passion is your business. Not marketing it.

The good news is there are some things you can do to market your business that are easy and cheap! Plus, if you don’t have the resources right now to hire someone to help with your marketing, these are things anyone can do!

Social Media
Obvious? Maybe. Necessary? For sure! Being present on social media is such a simple thing to do! Did you know many people now search for things on Facebook instead of going to a search engine site like Google? Wouldn’t you want your business to be one that shows up in a search?

Good content and graphics make up a great post, but you don’t have to be a professional photographer or a fantastic writer to create a post that performs well. You know more about your product or service than anyone so you can give them all the info they need. Keep in mind that you can have fun with your social media accounts. Show some behind the scenes looks, share fun facts, or get a little personal and explain why you’re passionate about what you do!

Keep Your Website Updated
Okay, so getting a website created for your business isn’t always cheap, but keeping it updated is! Since a website is something potential clients will look at before deciding to do business with you, you’ll want it to positively reflect you and your business. Make sure everything is updated and looks good. If you no longer offer a service, remove it from the site. Adding a service or have a special sale going on? Include it! Going in and editing a website might seem tricky, but usually it’s simple and straightforward.

Email Marketing
We just shared a blog about why you should be using email marketing and it’s a simple and free way to reach out to customers! Of course, you’ll want your email to be attractive, but you don’t have to be a designer to create a nice email. When you use an email marketing site, you just drag and drop! Easy to do and you can reach out to a lot of people!

Marketing doesn’t always have to be hard or expensive to work. We hope this list gave you some ideas for what you can do, but if you still need a little assistance, we’d love to help! After all, we do love marketing, remember?
